We believe support is key. Family for Life foster parents are saying “yes” to hard things on a daily basis, and it is our privilege to come alongside them on their journey. To support our families, we as an agency:

- offer 24/7 crisis management for open foster homes

- provide case management and connection to resources

- attend court hearings with foster parents

- conduct additional trainings answering day-to-day fostering questions

- offer a monthly night of childcare

- advocate for foster parent rights

Friends for Life Support Groups come alongside our foster families to offer unconditional support in a variety of ways. This may include consistent encouragement and prayers or occasional home-cooked meals on difficult days. Each group is assigned to a specific foster family and tailors their support to meet the unique needs of that family and the children in their care.

Legacy Family Network offers a foster family support group on the first Monday of each month. Dinner and childcare are provided. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other families who can truly say, “I understand.”

Family for Life offers a support group for biological parents that meets regularly. We believe in the power of a positive community while facing trials and pursuing change. Our support group includes parents who have been successfully reunified with their children, as well as those still in the middle of open cases. Please contact us for more details!
