Ronda Davis
Family Support Specialist
Ronda and Keith’s fostering experiences began when Ronda befriended a hurting and lonely woman who, when her new baby was removed from her care, requested that the Davises accept placement. Beginning with that little girl, Ronda endeavored to be a safe person who provided support and acceptance to each of the more than 30 children welcomed into their home, as well as the parents of those children.
As her knowledge and experience grew, Ronda became a certified trainer, walking new foster families through their pre-service curriculum and sharing her wisdom with them. With invitations to speak at various support groups and events, Ronda regularly expands her comfort zone as she addresses questions and fears with boldness and truth. The story she shares is one of inadequacy but willingness, with the main focus on a God who empowers those who surrender their lives to Him.
Ronda spends much of her time meeting the needs of others, sharing stories with foster parents, and bringing smiles to children. She believes strongly in foster parents advocating for children and their families, while playing an important role as respected members of the multi-disciplinary team pursuing permanency for children. Ronda brings joy and passion to Family for Life as a mom of 6, a Lolli of 7, and a forever mentor/Mommy Ronda/special friend to countless more.
